(U-Th)/He ages from zircons collected from the upper Marsyangdi valley of central Nepal: raw data@en

This dataset contains the results of three individual (U-Th)/He analyses using Zircons extracted from bedrock samples. The bedrock samples were collected from medium-high grade metamorphic rocks exposed along the upper Marsyangdi river valley. They were collected in order to add to the already available thermochronometric datasets and better constrain the exhumation history of the central Himalayas. The measurements of the ages follow the general procedures outlined in Reiners (2005) and Reiners et al. (2004).本数据集包含3次独立的（铀-钍）/氦（(U-Th)/He）热年代学分析结果，分析所用锆石（Zircon）提取自基岩样品。所述基岩样品采自马尔桑格迪河（Marsyangdi River）上游河谷沿线出露的中高级变质岩。采集这些样品旨在扩充已有的热年代学数据集，以更精准地限定喜马拉雅中部的剥露演化历史。本次年龄测定遵循Reiners（2005）及Reiners等（2004）提出的通用实验流程。
