Global pesticide use distribution 2022, by region

In 2022, the Americas represented more than 51.1 percent of the agricultural pesticide consumption worldwide. Asia and Europe followed, with shares of 28.6 and 12.8 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, pesticide consumption in Africa and Oceania combined accounted for less than eight percent of the world's total.
