Pan Trap Data Set

Used a grid to set up pantries in the woodlot and grassland on the Northern Essex Community College campus. Traps were made using yellow, white, and blue plastic bowls filled halfway with soapy water to collect insects. This data is used to estimate the density and abundance of different insect species in each habitat. Some traps did not collect any insects and were noted in the data as N/A.本研究在北埃塞克斯社区学院（Northern Essex Community College）校园内的小片林地与草地中，借助网格（grid）布设了诱集装置（pantries）。本次研究所用的诱捕器由黄、白、蓝三色塑料碗制成，碗内装入半量肥皂水以采集昆虫样本。该数据集用于估算不同生境中各昆虫物种的种群密度与丰度。部分诱捕器未采集到任何昆虫，在数据集中以N/A标记。
