Automatic image analysis is shaped by user bias: Metric choices

The underlying images and analysis scripts for Figure 4C-E of <b><i>Believing is seeing – the deceptive influence of bias in quantitative </i></b><b><i>microscopy</i></b>.The files <i>Cell1.tif</i> and <i>Cell2.tif</i> contain images of focal adhesions as described in <i>README.txt</i> and in the associated publication. A trained Weka Segmentation model and intermediate processing outputs are included in <i>WekaSegmentation.zip</i>. The MATLAB script <i>analyzeAdhesions.m</i> was used to create statistics on the Weka-segmented adhesions; the expected output from this script is provided in <i>analysisOutput.zip</i>.
