资源简介:
Recycling carbon fibre-reinforced polymers is crucial to sustainable composite manufacturing, yet the mechanical performance of recycled fibres remains poorly understood. A key challenge lies in the fibre-matrix debonding that governs the tensile strength of Aligned Discontinuous Composites (ADCs). Conventional absorption-based tomography is insufficient to resolve these fine-scale mode II cracks. This proposal seeks to employ in-situ holotomography at ESRF ID16B, combined with Digital Volume Correlation (DVC), to capture high-resolution images of debonding and validate predictive strength models. Our findings will advance the fundamental understanding of damage mechanisms in ADCs and inform optimised manufacturing strategies for high-performance recycled composites.
