Lactobacillus paracasei Genome sequencing. Lacticaseibacillus paracasei strain:IIA

Lactobacillus paracasei is a member of the lactic acid group of bacteria. It is a gram-positive, facultatively heterofermentative, non-spore forming microorganism and is commercially used extensively as probiotics and in the fermentation of dairy products and meat. The aim of this study is to sequence the complete genome of L. paracasei strain IIA, to determine its phylogeny and to compare and contrast its genome with other Lactobacilli.
