Our research area is located at Spasskaya Pad scientific forest station (62N, 129E) 40 kilometers from Yakutsk in Northeastern Siberia, Russia. Soil moisture was measured at depths of 0.15, 0.3, 0.5, 0.9, 1.2 m with Moisture probe type A and at depths of 0.15, 0.3, 0.45, 0.6, 0.9 m with Moisture probe type F. These measurements were contacted at 4 locations.
