Nutrient availability governs microbial community composition and ecosystem function in boreal and temperate mixed mire wetlands

We examined how the environmental variables, such as pH, temperature, dissolved organic carbon and nutrients, impacted in shaping the community composition in the Swedish and Japanese mires. Metabarcoding were used to identify the taxonomy of pro-and eukaryotic microorganisms and their metabolic functions.
