To understand the diversity of expression states in cancer cell lines, we profiled 198 cancer cell lines by single-cell RNA-seq with 10X chromium. Overall design: Nine pools, each containing multiple cell lines, were profiled by 10x chromium. The cells in each pool were assigned to the corresponding cell line based on similarity in gene expression and in SNP profiles.
