Nine Incorporated Trades Plaque

This panel is situated in the antiquities room within the Old Steeple tower in Dundee. The panel was rescued from the Trades Hall when it was demolished. The central panel features symbols associated with the crafts, and are as follows from left to right:- First Row - Baker, Cordiner (shoemaker), Glover. Second Row - Tailor, Bonnet Maker, Flesher. Third Row - Hammerman (Goldsmiths etc), Weaver and Dyer. The sequence of pictures were taken in a rush meaning the lower half of the model has some detail missing when looking upwards.
