This statistic displays a forecast of mobile application economy revenues in the United Kingdom (UK) from 2013 through 2025. As of June 2014, the source forecasted that mobile app revenues would exceed 30 billion British pounds by 2025. This constitutes an increase of approximately ten times the revenue in 2013 which was at about 2.9 billion British pounds. The number of mobile app users in the UK has been growing steadily and was at approximately 43.21 million users at the second quarter in 2016. About 29 million of those users were between the age of 25 and 54 years. The download frequency of mobile app users in the UK revealed the majority are occasional downloaders.
