DCENT: Dynamically Consistent ENsemble of Temperature at the earth surface

Please visit this page for global and regional statistics: https://duochanatharvard.github.io/research_01_DCENT.html The Dynamically Consistent ENsemble of Temperature (DCENT) is dataset for monitoring global and regional temperatures at the Earth surface since 1850. This product provides combined estimates of Land Surface Air Temperature (LSAT) and Sea Surface Temperature (SST) at a monthly resolution of 5°x5°. A distinguishing feature of DCENT, compared to other widely used products, is its advanced harmonization of land and ocean data archives throughout the historical period. DCENT includes 200 members that sample the distribution of uncertainties throughout the entire data homogenization process. The data ensemble is available in NetCDF format in this repository and in zarr format on Google Cloud. For accessing DCENT data from Google Cloud, please refer to the "Demo_DCENT_google_cloud.ipynb" notebook available in this repository.
