In 2023, Calzedonia Group's turnover amounted to about 3.1 billion euros, an increase compared to just a year before. Through the many brands it controls, the Calzedonia Group is mainly producing and retailing in hosiery, underwear, and swimwear for women, men and kids. Some of its brands are Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Tezenis, Falconeri, Intimissimi Uomo, and Atelier Emé.A constant growthFounded in 1986 in Verona, Calzedonia is the original and the oldest brand controlled by the Group. The Group has grown exponentially thanks to the addition of new brands through the course of the years. The turnover grew constantly between 2010 and 2017, and then increased again in the following year, at least until the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company recently announced the plan to change its name to "Oniverse".Domestic vs foreign revenuesAs many other companies active in the fashion industry, Calzedonia Group produces most of its turnover abroad. In 2022, approximately 42 percent of the Group’s revenue originated in Italy, whereas the rest came from foreign markets. However, Calzedonia is not as reliant on exports as some other companies.
