The proportion of antlions that responded to prey did not change significantly for most treatments, compared to the proportion before heat (Pearson Chi-Square, P = N.S.). The proportion decreased significantly in C. lineosa only under the most extreme treatment (45°C/72 h, χ21 = 5.9, P = 0.015), and returned to its original level when the temperature was restored to 25°C.
