2015 Lefkada Earthquake Relocated Catalog
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains a catalogue of 1,790 earthquakes associated with the 17 November 2015 Lefkada earthquake (Mw 6.4), which ruptured the Lefkada segment of the Kefalonia Transform Fault Zone in the central Ionian Islands, western Greece. The catalogue begins with the mainshock (17 November 2015, 07:10:07.61 UTC, listed here as M 6.5) and continues through 31 March 2016, covering roughly four and a half months of aftershock activity. Epicentres lie between 38.30–38.94°N and 20.39–20.72°E, along the western coast of Lefkada and extending southwards towards Kefalonia. Local magnitudes range from M 0.1 to 6.5. Twenty-nine earthquakes have M ≥ 4.0, and the largest aftershock (M 5.1) occurred less than 1.5 hours after the mainshock. Hypocentral depths range from 2.5 to 22.3 km, with 90% of events located between about 5 and 12 km. More than half of the events (956) occurred in the first two weeks of the sequence (17–30 November 2015). The catalogue is provided as a single Excel file (lefkada_15.xlsx) with one row per event, in chronological order: Column Description Units event_id Sequential event identifier (1–1790) – latitude Epicentre latitude decimal degrees N longitude Epicentre longitude decimal degrees E depth Depth km year, month, day, hour, minutes, seconds Origin time UTC magnitude Event magnitude – magnitude_type Magnitude scale – RMS Root-mean-square travel-time residual of the location s
