This FAIRsharing record describes: The Paleobiology Database seeks to provide researchers and the public with information about the entire fossil record. It stores global, collection-based occurrence and taxonomic data for marine and terrestrial animals and plants of any geological age, as well as web-based software for statistical analysis of the data. It is maintained by an international non-governmental group of paleontologists.
