Food discovery & mean forager traffic on paired control & host paths

Raw data for paired trail-following experiments with the ant Cephalotes specularis in the laboratory. Data are given for 3 colonies (a, b, c). Ten paired path trials were conducted for each species (1-10 in "trial" column). Within each trial, a control path was paired with a path that had been previously used by host ant species Crematogaster ampla ("control" or "host" in the "path" column). Food discovery time ("discovery_time_s") is given in seconds, and mean forager traffic over the 25 minute trial ("mean_traffic_ants") is given in number of ants.

本数据集为实验室环境下针对镜面弓背蚁（Cephalotes specularis）开展的配对路径跟随实验原始数据。数据集包含3个蚁群（a、b、c）的实验记录。针对受试蚁类物种，共开展10组配对路径实验，实验编号在"trial"列中标记为1至10。每组实验中，均设置一条对照路径与一条此前由宿主蚁安氏举腹蚁（Crematogaster ampla）使用过的路径进行配对，路径类型在"path"列中以"control"或"host"标注。数据集包含两项核心实验指标：食物发现时间（"discovery_time_s"，单位：秒），以及25分钟实验周期内的平均觅食蚁流量（"mean_traffic_ants"，单位：蚂蚁只数）。
