To investigate the evolution and the mutation characteristics of different replicons within the genus Pseudoalteromonas, we selected two species, P. sp. JCM12884T and P. sp. LC0214, and then we conducted the mutation accumulation experiments combined with whole genome sequencing strategy (MA-WGS) to uncover the genome mutation features.
