Model for an Allegory of Charity

This is the model for a marble relief that Rysbrack donated to the Foundling Hospital in London in 1746. The hospital had been set up as a refuge for abandoned children and was supported by a number of leading artists. In 1745 Rysbrack became a governer and guardian.本藏品为里斯布雷克（Rysbrack）于1746年捐赠给伦敦育婴堂的大理石浮雕创作原型。该育婴堂专为收容弃儿而设立，曾得到诸多顶尖艺术家的资助。1745年，里斯布雷克出任该院院董与监护人。
