Parkes observations for project P885 semester 2023APRS_07

We request a continued modest monitoring cadence of once every 10 days for two radio magnetars, to track their rotation, flux density, and polarisation. 1E 1547.0-5408 has just suffered a 'hiccup' in radiative properties as well as in its rotation, and the near-term response to this event remains unclear. Swift J1818.0-1607 remains quite dynamic, and the unique UWL capabilities promise new opportunities to probe still mysterious radio emission mechanisms in magnetars. We will observe XTE J1810-197 and PSR J1622-4950, which has just ceased emission, less frequently. The overall request is 18 hours.

我们请求对两颗射电磁星（radio magnetar）维持适度的常态化监测频次，即每10天一次，以追踪其自转、流量密度及偏振特性。1E 1547.0-5408 近期在辐射特性与自转状态上均出现了一次“异常波动”，目前针对该事件的短期响应机制仍不明确。Swift J1818.0-1607 仍处于高度活跃状态，其独有的UWL观测能力为探究磁星中至今仍充满神秘色彩的射电辐射机制提供了新的契机。我们将降低对XTE J1818-197与刚停止辐射的PSR J1622-4950的观测频次。本次观测总申请时长为18小时。
