Total Sky Imager observations during POLARSTERN cruise PS122/2 on 2019-12-24

The dataset consist of camera shots of the sky. The camera - a total sky imager manufactured by Canon (Powershot) - was mounted at the top of the Research Vessel Polarstern. At the leg2 (from December 2019 until February 2020) of the MOSAIC experiment in the Arctic Ocean this camera shots were taken with a temporal resolution of 15 minutes. The dataset represents the visible projection of weather conditions and cloud cover recorded on the vessel Polarstern in the direction near the zenith. These observations are useful for the interpretation of the atmospheric radiation measurements.

本数据集包含天空的相机拍摄影像。所用相机为佳能（Canon）博秀（Powershot）系列的总天空成像仪（total sky imager），安装于极地号（Polarstern）科考船的顶部。在北冰洋MOSAIC科考实验的第2航段（2019年12月至2020年2月）期间，该相机以15分钟的时间分辨率采集了上述影像。本数据集记录了极地号科考船近天顶（zenith）方向的天气状况与云量覆盖情况的可见光成像信息，此类观测数据可用于辅助大气辐射测量结果的解译。
