Draft genomes of female and male turbot (Scophthalmus maximus)

Turbot (<i>Scophthalmus maximus</i>) is a commercially important species and is among the most produced flatfish in aquaculture. It has a drastic sexual dimorphism where females are larger. We sequenced and de novo assembled female and male genomes in the present study. Female_evm.gff3 is the annotation gff3 file of the female turbot’s assembled genome. turbot_Orthogroups.tsv is a list of the gene families generated in your analysis. turbot_TE.denovo.gff and turbot_TE.homo.gffare the repeat annotations.大菱鲆（Turbot，学名*Scophthalmus maximus*）是一类具有重要商业价值的物种，亦是水产养殖中产量最高的比目鱼之一。该物种存在显著的性别二态性，雌性个体体型更大。本研究对雌性与雄性大菱鲆的基因组进行了测序并完成从头组装。Female_evm.gff3为雌性大菱鲆组装基因组的注释gff3文件；turbot_Orthogroups.tsv为本研究分析中生成的基因家族列表；turbot_TE.denovo.gff与turbot_TE.homo.gff为重复序列注释文件。
