Genetic transformation of maize is highly dependent on the development of embryonic calli from thededifferentiated immature embryo. To better understand the regulatory mechanism of immature embryodedifferentiation, we generated four small RNA libraries from maize 18-599R inbred line, which representing themajor stages of dedifferentiation.
