WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from BARBEY in the NE Pacific from 1991-05-31 to 1991-08-11 (NODC Accession 9100179)

The data in this accession were collected in NE Pacific (limit-180) from Ship BARBEY between May 31, 1991 to August 11, 1991. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Fifty stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and are present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.

本次入库数据集的采集工作于1991年5月31日至1991年8月11日期间，在以西经180°为边界的东北太平洋海域，由巴尔贝号（BARBEY）调查船完成。美国海军（US Navy）通过长条纸带记录仪，记录了变深式温深仪（XBT）采集的实时海水温度数据。共计50份长条纸带记录与无线电日志被提交至国家海洋数据中心（NODC）。上述长条纸带记录中的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，目前以C116文件格式存储于NODC当前的数据存储系统中。
