Carbonactinospora thermoautotrophica strain StC is a thermophilic chemoautotrophic aerobic Actinomycetota, isolated from a burning organic pile and thrives at temperatures between 55 and 65 C. To better understand the carbon fixation mechanisms and potential biotechnological applications, we conducted genomic, transcriptomic and proteomic analysis on autotrophically and heterotrophically grown bacterial cells using Oxford Nanopore, Illumina HiSeq technology and LC-MS/MS.
