Sediment bacteria in the Southern Ocean

The aim of the study was to investigate bacterial community structures sediment samples taken in the Southern Ocean around Elephant Island and the Antarctic Peninsula. Bacterial community structures were assessed by pyrotag sequencing targeting the bacterial 16S rRNA gene.

本研究旨在探究采自象岛周边南大洋及南极半岛周边海域的沉积物样品中的细菌群落结构。研究以细菌16S rRNA基因为靶标，采用焦磷酸标签测序（pyrotag sequencing）技术对细菌群落结构进行分析。
