The fileset presents a case study of museum representations in Sam Tung Uk Museum, Hong Kong. The data are collected by the authors on a field trip to the Museum dated 28 March 2019. The fileset includes: Item A: analysis.docx, a document analysing how the visiting route will affect the impression towards the theme of a museum; Item B: C-text.docx, the Chinese descriptions in Sam Tung Uk Museum; Item C: E-text.docx, the English descriptions which were translated from the Chinese version in Sam Tung Uk Museum; Item D: images.zip, photos taken during the visit to Sam Tung Uk Museum; Item E: cloud1.jpg, an image of data analysis on the Chinese descriptions in Sam Tung Uk Museum to find its high frequency word(s); Item F: cloud2.jpg, an image of data analysis on the English descriptions in Sam Tung Uk Museum to find its high frequency word(s); Item G: cloud3.jpg, an image of data analysis on the transcript of guided tour in Sam Tung Uk Museum to find its high frequency word(s); Item H: trend1.jpg, an image of data analysis on the Chinese descriptions in Sam Tung Uk Museum to find the trend of 「陳」 Item I: trend2.jpg, an image of data analysis on the English descriptions in Sam Tung Uk Museum to find the trend of 'chan' and 'rice' Item J: trend3.jpg, an image of data analysis on the transcript of guided tour in Sam Tung Uk Museum to find the trend of 「陳」 The fileset is uploaded on 15 April 2019 for assessment in TRAN4210 Translation Criticism, an advanced course offered by Department of Translation, Chinese University of Hong Kong, in the academic year 2018-19.

本数据集为香港三栋屋博物馆（Sam Tung Uk Museum）的博物馆展陈方式案例研究。所有数据由作者于2019年3月28日赴该馆实地考察采集所得。本数据集包含以下内容：

项目C：E-text.docx，由三栋屋博物馆中文解说文本翻译而来的英文解说文本；
