NRS-10236 | Goods outwards docket book [Rothbury State Operated Colliery]

This is a Goods Outwards docket book relating to the issue of stores. It has been retained as a sample of these records.Originally printed for the Department of Public Works, this item was used at the Rothbury Colliery during its operation by the State. Most of the dockets in the book are blank; only the first 17 are used. The dockets are in triplicate with those used consisting of the second and third (carbon) copies only.The dockets in this sample relate to issues of goods to "Mess" and "Sales". There are columns which list the articles issued and their quantity or weight. There is also an amount column but this is only used on dockets relating to Sales. Some of the Mess dockets are signed as received by S. P. Cooper, who was the Caterer.
