Details of tree seed orchards established in Ethiopia under the auspices of the Provision of Adequate Tree Seed Portfolios project, between the beginning of August 2018 and the end of August 2025.

This archive provides additional information to Table 1 included in the Landscape Alliance working paper of Pedercini et al. (2026) titled "Operationalizing a breeding seedling orchard approach for high-quality tree seed production in Ethiopia: Progress, plans and lessons of the Provision of Adequate Tree Seed Portfolios project". This paper summarizes the project's orchard establishment activities. In total, 62 orchards, comprising 27 breeding seedling orchards (BSOs) and 35 seedling seed orchards (SSOs), were established. 23 tree species, 13 native and 10 previously introduced to Ethiopia, were included in orchards. In the current table, orchards are ordered by the unique identifier (F number) assigned to each orchard by the project ("PATSPO reference"). The table also gives the key provided in Table 1, and applied in Figure 3, of the Pedercini et al. (2026) working paper.
