Consular Reality Check: U.S. visa appointment wait times by consular post and adjusted B-visa refusal rates by nationality — a Strait Research dataset
收藏资源简介:
Two U.S. Department of State datasets in machine-readable form: (A) visa appointment wait times for 241 consular posts from the Global Visa Wait Times page as last updated October 21, 2026 (B1/B2 next-available and average waits, F/M/J, petition-based and crew/transit next-available waits, published in months and converted to days at the source's stated 30 days per month, with the published text preserved); and (B) adjusted refusal rates for B visas only, by nationality, for fiscal years 2025 and 2024 (398 rows), reproduced exactly as published — the Department publishes rates only, not application counts, so the dataset contains no denominators. Version 1.1 adds a derived movers file (FY2024 to FY2025 percentage-point change for all 198 nationalities, with 0.00% rows flagged per the source footnote) and a dated snapshot archive for the wait-times dataset (October 21, 2026 baseline).
