This dataset is applicable to potato planting incidence prediction. Its input features include disease resistance score, planting density, leaf color index (SPAD), plant height (cm), pest and disease type, growth period (days), and tiller number, with the output being the incidence prediction value. This model addresses the problem of modeling the relationship between potato incidence and crop growing conditions. When the predicted incidence is too high, farmers can take corresponding measures to optimize planting strategies and reduce potato planting incidence. Potato incidence is not only an assessment indicator for agricultural production, but also an important indicator reflecting the agricultural production and economic status of a given region. The level of incidence is directly related to farmers' income and food production capacity, and has a significant impact on rural economic development, improvement of people's living standards, and national agricultural security. Therefore, reducing potato planting incidence is not only a pursuit of individual farmers' interests, but also reflects the attention paid by the country and society to agricultural production development. The dataset is compiled through field surveys and data collection of potato growing information, and traditional algorithms including multiple linear regression are used to predict potato incidence. The model uses the same input features as mentioned above: disease resistance score, planting density, leaf color index (SPAD), plant height (cm), pest and disease type, growth period (days), and tiller number. The multiple linear regression algorithm determines the weight coefficient of each variable by analyzing the linear relationship between these input variables and potato incidence. During the model training process, the algorithm uses the actual values of potato incidence for optimization, adjusting the weight coefficients to minimize prediction errors. The model calculates the potato incidence prediction value based on the input data through techniques such as the least squares method to obtain the final result. Through this process, the model can comprehensively consider multiple input variables, accurately predict potato incidence, and thereby improve farmers' income and food production capacity.
