A micro-quasar acting out\: probing yet another temper tantrum in GRS 1915+105

In May 2019 the black hole GRS 1915+105 underwent a transition to a newobscured Xray state., characterised by markedly increased radio flaringactivity. Despite the apparent drop in the Xray output, the radio jet seems tobe fed at high rates, similarly to what has been observed in V404 Cyg in 2015.We are observing the target on October 12th, 2019 simultaneously with XMM andINTEGRAL (DDT), and a number of radio facilities. Here we propose a followupTarget of Opportunity observation of GRS 1915+105, to be performedsimultaneously by XMM and INTEGRAL (45ks each) when GRS 1915+105 evolves awayfrom this new obscured state (and perhaps to quiescence after 27 years), toprobe the accretion/ejection processes.
