In order to analyze microbial diversity and community composition of American ginseng cultivated soils with different restoration years (0, 1, 10, 20y, respectively), we sequenced the V3-V4 region of bacterial 16S rDNA, the ITS1 region of fungal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) rDNA, and the V3-V4 region of eukaryotic 18S rDNA (non-fungal eukaryotic sequences were obtained after fungal sequences were removed).
