Data for: Body size of Daphnia cucullata as an indicator of the ecological status of temperate lakes

The data contains measurements of body size of Daphnia cucullata (body length, body width, length of head, length of tail spine) in 104 lakes with different trophic status (Poland). In total, we measured 3190 individuals of D. cucullata, which gives us 12760 measurements. The specimens were collected over six years, but always during the peak of summer stagnation (July-August). The second sheet presents the morphometric and trophic characteristics of the studied lakes.

本数据集涵盖波兰104个不同营养状态湖泊的冠纹溞(Daphnia cucullata)体型测量数据，具体包括体长、体宽、头长及尾刺长四项指标。本次研究共测量冠纹溞个体3190只，累计获得12760组有效测量数据。样本采集工作历时六年，但所有样本均采集于夏季水体停滞峰值时段（7月至8月）。第二张工作表呈现了本次研究涉及湖泊的形态计量学特征与营养状态参数。
