Mineral and petrofabric data of Neoproterozoic Tanzanian tectonites

The dataset includes mineral chemistry and crystallographic axis orientations for various minerals from selected metamorphic rock samples collected in the Gol Mountains of Northern Tanzania.
Electron-microprobe data (Excel spreadsheet) include mineral structural formulae calculation by charge balance criteria following various procedures suggested in the bibliography (Spear, 1995) for different phases. Electron back-scattered diffraction (EBSD) mineral petrofabric data are the direct output of the automated Electron Back-Scattered Diffraction system from the University of the Basque Country (Channel5, HKL), and can be processed with MTex software and Matlab (Bachmann et al., 2010).

本数据集涵盖采自坦桑尼亚北部戈尔山脉（Gol Mountains）的变质岩样品中各类矿物的矿物化学数据与结晶轴取向参数。
电子探针微区分析数据（存储于Excel电子表格中）包含依据文献提出的多种方法，通过电荷平衡准则计算得到的矿物结构式，相关计算流程参考了针对不同矿物相的多篇文献推荐方案（Spear, 1995）。
电子背散射衍射（Electron Back-Scattered Diffraction, EBSD）矿物组构数据为巴斯克大学自动化电子背散射衍射系统（Channel5, HKL）的直接输出结果，可通过MTex软件与Matlab进行后续处理（Bachmann et al., 2010）。
