The Security Force Ethnicity (SFE) Project: Middle East and North Africa v1

The original version of the dataset and codebook, as published in CMPS. Provides measures of the representation of ethnic groups in the officer corps and rank and file of militaries in the Middle East and North Africa region from 1946 to 2013. Codebook provides explicit procedures for data collection and coding as well as detailed narratives for each country with reference to original sources consulted.
