Literature review on content and discourse analyses of technoscientifc media coverage

This item comprises two dataframes on content and discourse analytical studies of technoscientific media coverage. Based on a database research and a subsequent pyramid search (random sample) 379 relevant studies were reviewed focussing on characterstics of the analysed studies themselves (e. g., journals, methodological approach), characteristics of the first authors (e. g., scientific domain, geographic origin) as well as characteristics of the analysed media coverage (e. g., subject of the media coverage and its relation to societal processes). Also references of the analysed studies were captured to examine the degree of reciprocal citations in the field.本数据集包含两份数据框，用于收录科技类媒体报道的内容分析与话语分析相关研究。本数据集依托数据库检索及后续的金字塔随机抽样流程，共遴选得到379篇相关研究，并围绕三类核心特征展开系统性梳理：其一为被分析研究自身的特征（如刊载期刊、研究方法）；其二为第一作者的特征（如研究领域、地理来源）；其三为所分析媒体报道的特征（如报道主题及其与社会进程的关联）。此外，本数据集还收录了上述被分析研究的参考文献，以考察该领域内的互引程度。
