This experiment was conducted over the course of two days. 200 quadrates were done in grasslands(100) and woodlots(100). The temperature and cloud cover was consistantly 14 degrees celcius and partially cloudy. Quadrates were chosen via random number generator, first 1-4 N-W, then again 1-20 to determine the amount of steps needed to be taken in set direction. This experiment measures the amount of sunlight an area recieves and the abundance of living vegetation present.
本实验为期两日。共布设200个样方(quadrat),其中草原生境100个、林地生境100个。实验期间环境温度始终稳定维持在14摄氏度,天气均为多云状态。样方选取采用随机数生成器完成:首先通过1至4的随机数确定西北(N-W)方向的分区,再通过1至20的随机数计算沿设定方向所需行进的步数,以此确定样方的具体位置。本实验的观测指标为区域接收的日照量,以及样地内现存活植被的丰度。
