Head of a beardless Youth

The head of a beardless youth with shoulder length hair, small hooped earrings, much worn by men at that time, and a diadem decorated with rosettes. It originates from about 580 - 530 BC. The head originally belonged to a statue of a votary and was dedicated as a votive gift in a sanctuary, perhaps at Golgoi.这件藏品为一尊无胡须青年的头像，其留有齐肩长发，佩戴小型圈状耳环——这类耳饰在彼时男性群体中颇为盛行——并头戴一枚饰有蔷薇花结的冕冠。该头像的年代约为公元前580年至公元前530年。该头像原属于一尊还愿者雕像，曾作为还愿供品被奉纳于一处圣所，其供奉地点或为戈尔戈伊（Golgoi）。
