Abundance and biomass of macrobenthic organisms collected from box corer samples taken in Fram Strait and surrounding waters in 1997 and 2012

This dataset is a component of the PAN-Arctic data collection of benthic BIOtas (PANABIO). It contains a total of 267 abundance and wet biomass records of 93 macrobenthic taxa (species to genus level) identified in 32 van Veen grab samples taken at 32 stations located in Fram Strait and surrounding water at water depths of 517–5,416 m during five cruises in 1997 and 2012. The dataset is also available in a PostgreSQL-based data warehouse that can be accessed and queried through an open-access frontend web service at https://critterbase.awi.de/panabio.
