Baynes Sound pH Sensor Deployed 2020-04-15

The Sea-Bird SeaFET V2 pH (SN 2126) was deployed on 2020-04-15 at Baynes Sound. Baynes Sound is located between Denman Island and Vancouver Island. This device is a pH Sensor. pH sensors measure the acidity, or alkalinity, of sea water by the concentration of hydrogen ions in the water column. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.

海鸟（Sea-Bird）SeaFET V2型pH传感器（序列号2126）于2020年4月15日部署于贝恩斯湾。贝恩斯湾地处迪纳曼岛与温哥华岛之间。该设备为pH传感器，通过检测水柱中的氢离子浓度，可测量海水的酸度与碱度。本次部署的传感器搭载于固定式平台之上。此次部署获取的所有数据均已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 2.0数字基础设施对外共享；所有数据均遵循既定规范开展质量管控，并生成衍生数据产品。
