Data Description Purpose of Data building To Address the lack of a linked dataset between the Korean Patent Office's database of Korean corporate patent applications and corporate basic information (metadata). The detailed data description is explained in Korea Patent-Firm Description.pdf. These data were constructed using the following data sources & API services: KIPRIS Plus (Patent data): A service provided by the Korean Intellectual Property Office that supports the utilization of intellectual property information LINK: https://plus.kipris.or.kr/portal/main.do Data Guide (Corporation Meta Data): FnGuide's database service for financial market and corporate analysis LINK: https://dataguide.fnguide.com/ NAVER Cloud Platform (API): The Maps on NAVER Cloud enables the creation of location-based services using NAVER Map content and data The GeoCoding API was utilized to extract each corporation’s longitude and latitude.
