Seismic Network Main Center of Special Monitoring

The MCSM seismic network is part of the National Seismic Observation System of Ukraine (NSSNU). The sensors are installed in specialized seismic mines at a depth of 20-35 meters. Seismic sensors Guralp 3T, Guralp 40T and their copies of ACSS are used, there are also mechanical long-period and short-period sensors of the type SVK, KSG, DSV. The MCSM serves the PS45 seismic array CTBTO. Data in digital form according to the SeedLink protocol enters the data center, which simultaneously performs the functions of the National Data Center NSSNU. The format of data miniSEED and CSS 3.0. NDC for processing and storage receives data from other Ukrainian networks (Institute of Geophysics NAS of Ukraine, Seismic array of Nuclear power plants in Ukraine). All data can be partially or fully spread through the NDC further.
