Small non-coding RNAs are important contributor for the modulation of genetic information. One type of such RNAs corresponds to microRNA (18-22nt) whose biological activity can be exhibited not only at long distance from their production but can also can be secreted in the environment for inter-kingdom "communication" purposes. This study's objective is to establish a detailed protocol for the analysis of plant miRNAs, from their isolation to their bioinformatic analysis.
