The study presents the raw sequencing data and mitochondrial genome assembly of Kadsura coccinea, a species of interest in the field of botanical genetics. Employing 9.79 Gb nanopore sequencing data, we have successfully generated a high-quality dataset that provides insights into the genetic makeup of this plant.
