Okhotsk Soya sea ice observation dataset in 2018

This dataset was obtained using PV Soya in the southern Sea of Okhotsk in February 2018, in collaboration between Japan Coast Guard and Hokkaido University to monitor the ice conditions associated with the global warming and improve our understanding of sea ice processes. The dataset is composed of the meteorological data (surface air pressure, air temperature, vapor pressure, and winds) recorded on board at an interval of one minute, the ice thickness data measured with a video system, and hourly visual observation records conducted according to the international ASPeCt protocol. The data format is available in the file, named Readme_soya_2018.docx.

本数据集于2018年2月在鄂霍次克海南部通过PV Soya采集完成，由日本海上保安厅与北海道大学联合开展，旨在监测与全球变暖相关的海冰状况，并加深对海冰过程的科学认知。数据集包含三类核心数据：以1分钟为采样间隔在船载记录的气象数据（涵盖地面气压、气温、水汽压及风场）、通过视频系统测得的海冰厚度数据，以及遵循国际ASPeCt协议实施的每小时目视观测记录。相关数据格式说明可查阅名为Readme_soya_2018.docx的文件。
