scRNAseq profile of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tumors and adjacent tissues with or without hepatitis-B virus (HBV) infection

In this study, we collected both the tumors and tumor-adjacent tissues from HBV-positive and HBV-negative HCC patients, conducted scRNA-seq, and compared the immune microenvironment of HBV-positive and HBV-negative tumors. To generate a single-cell atlas of the HCC, we recruited 6 HCC patients with primary tumors. All the tumors of the patients, aged from 49 to 75, including both males and females, do not display the vascular invasion and metastatic features. Overall, we obtained the transcriptomic data of 121848 single cells, with an average of 1892 detected genes per cell.
