ENVISAT MERIS Regional Mapped CyAN Project, True Color (TC) Data, version 6.0

CYANTC is the true-color companion to the CyAN Cyanobacteria Index (CI) products. CYANTC is designed for visual context and QA/QC—helping users spot clouds, ice/snow, haze, sunglint, sediment plumes, and other scene features—so they can better interpret coincident CI_cyano maps. Typical use: water-quality managers and researchers overlay CYANTC with CI_cyano to verify scenes, communicate conditions, and create quick-look maps for freshwater HAB monitoring. Geophysical variables in this suite include: - band1 – True Color, Red channel (RGB composite) (dimensionless reflectance / DN-encoded) - band2 – True Color, Green channel (RGB composite) (dimensionless reflectance / DN-encoded) - band3 – True Color, Blue channel (RGB composite) (dimensionless reflectance / DN-encoded)
