Data on Integrated production system of Millet-Cowpea with organic and mineral fertilization under or away from tree

The tree-based production system contributes to food security improvement, income generation for the family and community, and the fight against soil degradation and environmental protection which are among the major problems occurring in the Sahel. The fight against land degradation and the improvement of food and nutritional situation of the rural populations in the Sahel require diversification of agricultural production systems. The introduction of high economic potential trees such as the apple of the Sahel (Ziziphus mauritiana improved) in the production systems represents a promising route.
