Cyanophage Abundances and Infection Levels of Prochlorococcus and Synechococcus, KOK1606 This dataset collection of cyanophage abundances and infection levels of Prochlorococcus and Synechococcus was collected from the KM1502 (2015 SCOPE Transect) cruise in the Pacific Ocean. Cyanophage abundances and infection levels were analyzed using the polony and ipolony methods, respectively. These methods are a single-virus or single-cell assay that employs degenerate primers and probes to detect viruses or virus-infected cells belonging to a distinct cyanophage family.
